PA6 GF30 filament
To enable printing of engineering plastics on all kinds of printers we developed and qualified our TECAFIL PA6 GF30 filament, a nylon 3D printer filament reinforced by 30% glass fiber.
To close the gap between standard and high temperature plastic filaments Ensinger manufacture enhanced PA6 filament, which is categorised as an engineering thermoplastic filament.
Our nylon 6 filament is available in 1,75mm and 2.85 mm filament and is well suited for all industrial or desktop printer. Therefore we also qualify this filament for Ultimaker printer like the S5 and S3. If your settings comply to the recommended printing temperature around 270°C and the printing bed temperature of 75°C it is very easy to print your perfect application for end use parts or prototypes with this glass fiber nylon filament. With its glass fiber volume of 30% this material can be considered as one of the best nylon filaments in the market.
Thanks to its good tensile strength, high stiffness, compressive strength and an impact strength this glass filled nylon filament enables a huge range of applications, for example structural parts or applications with high static loads over long periods in high temperature conditions. So especially wherever high stiffness and strength is a key requirement, such as in automotive, electronics or mechanical industries our nylon 3D filament fits perfect to your end use part.
Due to its high fiber volume our PA filament can reduce the shrinking and warpage of your printed application compared to usual polyamide filaments.
Equal to all our filaments, our nylon filament comes pre-dried with a load of 500g on a polycarbonate spool and is therefore ready to use for your print. However we recommend pre-drying for a best possible print.
